Hundreds of Amish rode buses to Harrisburg to support the woman who has delivered thousands of their babies. Diane Goslin of Lancaster County was fined by the state and ordered to stop delivering babies last year. Goslin, 50, is a midwife — a woman who helps during childbirth — but lacks the certification required by Pennsylvania. Last year, the state ruled she had practiced medicine and midwifery without a license and fined her $11,000. She appealed her case today to a panel of Commonwealth Court judges. No decision is expected for at least a week.
